Whether you're a homeowner hiring a pro or a pro responding to a project — staying on-platform is what makes Innolux Master safer than finding strangers on the open internet. Going off-platform removes those protections for both sides.
The rule is simple: all messaging, bidding, contracts, and payments happen inside Innolux Master. Sharing phone numbers, emails, payment-app handles, or asking to "deal directly" is a violation of our Terms of Service.
Why it matters
Verified identities
Every pro is reviewed for license, insurance, and track record before going live. Off-platform contacts bypass that verification.
Dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, our team can mediate using the on-platform message and bid history. Side-channel deals leave no paper trail to fall back on.
Payment protection
Payments handled through Innolux Master are protected and tracked. Cash, Venmo, Zelle, or wire transfers off-platform have zero recourse if work isn't delivered.
Honest reviews
Reviews are tied to real, completed projects on the platform. Off-platform jobs can't be verified, which weakens the signal for everyone.
For homeowners
- Use the in-app messenger for every question, plan revision, and scheduling change.
- Pay deposits and milestones through Innolux Master so they're tracked and refundable in a dispute.
- If a pro asks to text, email, or pay them directly — politely decline and report it to us.
For pros
- Don't share personal phone numbers or emails in your bid or messages — it's grounds for removal.
- Run all change orders, payments, and proof of work through the platform — that's also how you build a verified review history.
- If a member pushes to go off-platform, you're not obligated. Decline and flag it — we'll back you up.
Repeat off-platform attempts can result in account suspension for both members and pros. We monitor for this to keep the network trustworthy.
